The Precision Diffusion Pump is a high performance, high vacuum
secondary pump specifically designed and manufactured for neon and cold
cathode production. The Diffusion Pump can be easily adapted to fit any
pumping system and will improve the performance of virtually every
vacuum pump. It works in unison with the mechanical vacuum pump
producing higher pumping speeds and better ultimate vacuums, especially
at low pressures when more performance is needed. Most importantly, the
faster pumping speed and better vacuum achieved with a Diffusion Pump
help produce a cleaner, longer lasting tube.

|
FEATURES: PUMPING SPEED The Precision
Diffusion Pump can achieve a maximum pumping speed of 10 liters per
second at pressure of 10-5 Torr. |
|
|
OPTIONS: Precision
Diffusion Pump Standard has an 18mm port to the
vacuum pump and 25mm port to the manifold. Designed for use with the
Precision SE and Precision DE Manifolds. May
be adapted to any other manifold. |

| VACUUM PUMPS |
|---|
| Welch and Marvac Scientific HIGH VACUUM PUMPS are designed for many years of dependable service. Ideal for neon processing, these two-stage rotary vane pumps provide stable pumping efficiency even in the low micron range. Available in both belt drive and direct drive in 115 or 230 volt models, they are built for long life and ease of maintenance. |
| VACUUM GAUGES | ||
|---|---|---|
|
PRECISION VACUUM GAUGES allow the operator to precisely
monitor tube pressure during evacuation. These gauges include rugged
but sensitive gauge tubes for excellent stability, accuracy, and
reliability. Good to determine ultimate vacuum, slight leaks,
outgassing and integrity of the system. With all vacuum gauges, a
stopcock should be installed between the manifold and the vacuum
gauge tube in order to isolate the vacuum gauge during bombarding.
This stopcock also protects the gauge tube from any influx of
contaminants when venting the manifold to atmosphere. |
